I am thrilled to share that my photograph of tricolored heron chicks in their nest has been featured in The Times newspaper in the UK. As the country’s oldest national daily newspaper, The Times has a rich tradition of showcasing compelling stories and captivating imagery, and I’m truly honored to have my work included among them.

Capturing this moment was a true test of patience. Tricolored heron chicks are restless, moving unpredictably as they beg for food and interact with their parents. Photographing them through a tangle of tree branches added to the challenge, requiring careful composition and precise timing.

Nesting season at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida, offers a rare and intimate glimpse into the lives of these remarkable birds, and witnessing their family dynamics up close was an unforgettable experience.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this moment with a global audience and hope it inspires a deeper appreciation for the beauty and fragility of our natural world.
