Orlando Bird Photography Workshop: Frequently Asked Questions

Any DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens works well. Ideally, a 100–400mm or 200–600mm lens gives you the best reach for bird photography, but Ronen will work with whatever equipment you bring.

Absolutely. Sessions are tailored to your current skill level, so it doesn’t matter whether you’ve never shot in manual mode or you’ve been photographing birds for years.

Orlando offers great bird photography year-round. For instance, winter brings migratory species, while spring and summer offer nesting and breeding activity. Ronen will help you choose the best timing based on your target species.

Availability varies by season, so booking at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance is recommended, especially during peak wildlife seasons.
