Expert-Led Wildlife Photography Across Florida & Beyond

Join immersive wildlife photography workshops and tours across Florida’s most inspiring locations. These include the Everglades, Wakodahatchee Wetlands, Fort De Soto Park, Merritt Island, Orlando Wetlands, and St. Augustine. All skill levels are welcome, from first-timers to experienced photographers. You will learn composition, exposure, behavior anticipation, and visual storytelling. Skills apply in any light or condition, anywhere in the world.

Trusted, Published, and Recognized Worldwide

My work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, TIME, CNN, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, The New Yorker, National Geographic, The Washington Post, The Smithsonian Magazine and many more. This editorial background shapes how I teach. I show you how to think like a visual storyteller. You will learn to build strong frames and capture moments that audiences respond to.

My images regularly appear in international media. That means my instruction is grounded in professional standards and ethical field practices. You will learn to make sharp, well-exposed images. More importantly, you will learn to create photographs that communicate behavior, place, and emotion.

Why Choose Wildlife With Ronen

✅ Personalized instruction through private one-on-one sessions or intentionally small group outings, so your questions are always heard and answered.

✅ Immediate professional feedback while you photograph, helping you refine camera settings, composition, and timing in real time instead of after the fact.

✅ Guidance from an instructor with years of experience teaching photographers of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.

✅ Local expertise that takes you straight to the most productive locations and vantage points for wildlife photography across Florida.

Learn From an Award-Winning Wildlife Photojournalist

Decades of wire news photojournalism shaped my approach to wildlife photography. The same decisive-moment instincts and storytelling discipline now guide my work in the field. Birds, mammals, and fragile ecosystems demand the same precision as breaking news. Previously, I served as Board Member and Vice President of the Press Photographers Association of Greater Los Angeles. In 2020, I was awarded a Fellowship from The Royal Photographic Society.

This background shapes every workshop I lead. You get clear, direct guidance on timing, angles, backgrounds, and ethics. Working quickly, confidently, and respectfully around wildlife, while still capturing dynamic, publication-worthy images, is the standard we aim for together.

The Florida Master Naturalist Advantage

As a University of Florida Certified Florida Master Naturalist, I bring more than photographic expertise to each session. Insights into local ecosystems, bird and animal behavior, and habitat dynamics are woven into every outing. You will understand not just what you are photographing, but why the scene is unfolding the way it is.
