Itinerary
1. Meet & Greet (15 minutes)
- Welcome and introduction to Everglades National Park
- Discussion of workshop goals and personal photography interests
- Review of camera gear and recommended settings for wildlife photography
2. On-Site Photography Session (2.5 hours)
- Guided exploration of key photography locations within the Everglades
- Hands-on instruction covering composition, lighting, and camera techniques
- Focus on capturing wildlife in motion, portraits, and environmental storytelling
- Techniques for tracking fast-moving animals and utilizing reflections for creative shots
- One-on-one coaching and feedback throughout the session
What to Bring
- DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens (minimum 200mm recommended)
- Extra memory cards and fully charged batteries
- Tripod or monopod (optional but recommended for stability)
- Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
- Hat, sunscreen, and water bottle for comfort in the Florida sun
- Bug spray for protection against mosquitoes
