One of my recent wildlife photographs was just featured in CNN’s “The Week in Photos” gallery for March 5 – March 12.

Every week, CNN curates a stunning global gallery, describing it as a showcase of “some of the stories that made headlines over the past week, as well as some photos that caught our eye.” As a wildlife photojournalist, I am incredibly honored that my work caught the attention of their editors and was selected to sit alongside such powerful imagery from around the world.

I captured this frame just a couple of days ago on Tuesday, March 10, at the spectacular Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach, Florida. For those who haven’t visited, Wakodahatchee is an absolute paradise for birding and wildlife photography, especially during the busy nesting season. As a certified Florida Master Naturalist, observing and documenting these critical stages of avian life is a profound privilege.
